Things I wish I knew as a Twin Mom.

Being a mom is a hard job.

An unimaginable load falls upon you as woman —physically , emotionally, mentally and energetically.

Your role changes, you have to be there for others and you can’t find a moment for a pause. And with twins all is double.

Health problems may arise when you live on autopilot—especially during pregnancy and postpartum—by assuming your physician is in charge of your health and that everything is all right.

But what I have learned is that there is something tests can’t measure, that Being a mother, living away from home and your native language makes you feel it more. The isolation and lack of support.

The invisible weight of postpartum manifests through your body, showing symptoms—joint pain, inflammation, and thyroid problems—that force you to be still. We have to go back to work (even as single mom or SAHM) and we unconsciously won’t allow ourselves to rest because we feel we must always accomplish more and more.

I invite you to take a look at your own pregnancy, and postpartum journey. Even 5 or 7 years later, you can still be showing symptoms that your body asking you to pause and have accountability for your well-being.

Remember “you are not overreacting” Are you pausing to recharge? Is nourishing yourself in your to-do list? If you feel related as a mom and will like to share any thought on it, share it in comments,

I will also be happy to help to support you and explore your needs to create the right individual environment of nutrition, sleep, movement and holistic therapies for you. ~Kris
